When to Seek Professional Help Sooner

Baby's Movements: If you feel the baby moving less than usual.
Water Breaking: If you notice amniotic fluid.
Heavy Bleeding: If you experience significant vaginal bleeding.
Pain or Pressure: If contractions are painful, or you feel significant pressure in your lower back.
Uncertainty: If you're unsure about your symptoms, it's always best to call your provider or go to the hospital to be safe.

5-1-1 Rule: Go to the hospital when contractions are 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute each, for at least 1 hour.
